Cree unveils Connected Cree® LED Bulb

If you want a light bulb that emits warm, omnidirectional light, you should check out the Connected Cree® LED Bulb recently released by leading lighting provider Cree.

The new Cree LED bulb has a 4Flow™ Filament Design which creates a compact, optically balanced light source inside a durable, shatter-proof housing.

Available as a 60-watt replacement, it delivers 815 lumens in a soft white (2700K) colour temperature.

This bulb is compatible with Wink and ZigBee® certified hubs and is available at The Home Depot® for just $14.97. It comes with a three-year warranty and has a rated lifetime of 25,000 hours.

The bulb is also dimmable via smartphone app and consumes 81 percent less energy (this is based on Cree LED Bulb 60-watt replacements at 11.5-watt, $0.11 per kilowatt-hour, 25,000-hour lifetime and average usage of three hours per day).
