Leading lighting manufacturer Larson Electronics has announced the addition of the EPSLED-80-141 – a hazardous area LED strobe beacon offered as a long-lasting and powerful alternative to traditional HID and incandescent strobe lights.
Approved for use in marine locations, the EPSLED-80-141 is the ideal choice for industrial applications, confined spaces, hazardous work areas and Class 1 Division 1 & 2 areas where a powerful and durable strobe light solution is needed.
“Carrying CSA and UL approvals, this is a nice addition to our growing selection of explosion proof strobe lights,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com.
“In single flash mode, this LED beacon produces 80 single flashes per minute.”
The new strobe beacon has ¾” hubs, can be operated with voltages of 120 to 277 VAC without modifications and has an operating temp range of -55°C to +85°C.
With LED output rated at 400 Candela, the EPSLED-80-141 provides highly effective strobe visibility in combustible atmospheres.
“The lamp housing is weatherproof and constructed of copper-free aluminium alloy featuring a baked on power coat finish, O-ring sealed glass dome with double pitch acme threads and stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance. The high power LED lamp is protected by an internal cooling fin array that reduces heat build for longer LED life and higher light output consistency,” the company revealed in a press release.
