Musco Lighting has announced that it has been selected by Arsenal Football Club to provide and install new LED floodlights at Emirates Stadium – the third largest football stadium in England – in time for next season.
Musco is a global leader in sports lighting, so it comes as no surprise that it was awarded this project. Aside from being a global leader in sports lighting, the company has almost 40 years of experience in the industry.
“We have been in Emirates Stadium for nine seasons and need to ensure we have the best possible conditions for players and fans for the future. Musco’s proposal meets our needs for top quality lighting within the ground on match days and varied in-stadia events,” said Arsenal’s Stadium and Facilities Director, John Beattie.
The new floodlighting system will be installed during the summer in order to be ready for use at the beginning of the 2015/16 season.
Musco has also provided state-of-the-art LED lighting solutions for the world’s largest rugby venue– Twickenham Stadium, the Houston Texans’ NRG Stadium, the Denver Broncos Field House, and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre.
“We are proud to have been selected by Arsenal Football Club to relight the iconic Emirates Stadium,” said Jeff Rogers, President of Musco World.
“The new, efficient LED system will help Arsenal FC offer a truly unique environment for the world’s top athletes.”
