Orion Energy Systems introduced four new LED lighting products designed to serve as a connected lighting platform that delivers business solutions beyond energy savings and lighting performance.
Unveiled at the LIGHTFAIR International Trade Show and Conference in Philadelphia, each of these products is said to deliver significantly more energy savings than comparable products on the market.
The ISON LED LDR Retrofit Modular Gourmet with Britex is intended for use in the food service industry.
According to the company, this high-performance luminaire was designed to seamlessly integrate with smart controls, with the power to elevate guest and staff experiences, improve food safety, and enhance the appearance of food products with a variety of light levels and colour temperatures.
Featuring Orion’s proprietary white coating with antimicrobial properties, this fixture is said to reduce electricity costs for lighting by more than $36,000 a year and $360,000 over a decade, a savings of 63 percent.
Designed to retrofit existing 2’x2’ and 2’x4’ door frame fluorescent troffers, this luminaire can be installed in under two minutes with minimal workplace disruption and is compatible with multiple commercially available control technologies.
The new APOLLO Generation III LED High Bay is designed for industrial, commercial, and retail applications and at 165 lumens per watt is the highest performing luminaire in its class.
Orion said the Apollo Gen III consumes approximately 26% less energy than the average comparable LED fixture in the same luminaire category and can reduce electricity costs for lighting by more than $78,000 a year and $780,000 over a decade.
It is also compatible with multiple commercially available control technologies and can serve as a platform to deliver business solutions through digital ceiling and IoT initiatives.
Orion also introduced the new APOLLO LED High Lumen High Bay and High Bay Plus, designed to provide powerful high bay or low bay illumination for industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, commercial, wholesale, and retail applications.
According to the company, a typical facility replacing fluorescent lighting with 1,000 APOLLO LED High Bay Plus fixtures could expect to reduce electricity costs for lighting by over $54,000 a year and $540,000 over a decade, a savings of some 37%.
This luminaire delivers industry leading lumens per watt efficiency of up to 163 LPW and features an innovative thermal design that reduces the operating temperature, extending its rated life and boosting performance.
Orion said the fixture is compatible with multiple commercially available control technologies and can serve as a platform to deliver business solutions through Digital Ceiling and IoT initiatives.
The new HARRIS Generation II LED High Bay is the fourth lighting product that Orion unveiled at the LIGHTFAIR International Trade Show.
Ideal for industrial, commercial, and retail applications, the Gen II High Bays can to reduce electricity costs by over $66,000 a year and more than $660,000 over a decade.
According to Orion, this 2’x2’ high bay delivers up to 140 lumens per watt, with its lightweight, white aluminium body offering light distribution options for aisles or open areas.
